In support of Finding a Cure for Breast Cancer, that is. Please join Hi-Lites Aveda in conjunction with Gilda's Club to celebrate survivors and raise awareness for victims during this Breast Cancer Awareness month in (4) different ways. (Watch KMIR 6 TV on October 3rd at 6:00 am and 9:00 am for a live broadcast)

(1) $10,000.00 is up for grabs, literally! Any time starting October 1st to the 20th come down to the salon for your chance to plunge your hand into a huge vase filled with Hi-Lites Aveda Fantasy Money.

1-pull for $10 and a chance to win up to $100
3-pulls for $20 and a chance to win up to $500
20-pulls for $100 and a chance to win up to $2000

(Limit (2) $100 donations per guest ~ money valid on services only ~ money can be combined and used on the same service and visit ~ can not be combined with any other offers ~ valid with charter members ~ money valid during the months of November 2007 & January 2008)

(2) Sponsor a Survivor- To Support the Cure all month, Hi-Lites Aveda is raising money to gift as many Aveda Hand Relief Lotions as possible to cancer patients on October 20th. Aveda has printed a special edition tube of their signature Hand Relief. Here's how you can participate;

Special Pink-Cap larger size editions of Aveda Hand Relief are wrapped and waiting at the Front Desk, complete with a gift tag that reads: “A Gift To You From: your name here ” .You can purchase a bottle of Hand Relief to be personally gifted to a cancer patient on your behalf that will be given out on October 20th.
During the month of October, all Aveda salons nationwide are donating $4 from the sale of every Hand Relief to help find the cure for cancer.

(3) What is Gilda's Club? www.gildasclubdesertcities.com Visit the Gilda's Club located on Hwy 111 in Cathedral City behind Lumpy's Golf shop (look for the big red door) and take a tour of this great facility. You will receive a 50% off gift card as a thank you! In return you will learn more about this amazing establishment.

(4) Wig Wash- In the special way that only the team at Hi-Lites Aveda can contribute, we are holding a “Wig Wash”. On October 20th, cancer survivors can bring in their wig to be carefully shampooed and lovingly restyled, free of charge. Please be prepared to leave your wig with us for up to one week.
