We are excited to announce that as of February 1st 2006, Chris will now be taking over the position of Artistic Director. He will be traveling the world learning all the latest and greatest trends and fashions and bringing them back to us to share with you. This also means that Chris will be harder to schedule a reservation with, but well worth the wait.

Due to the limited availability Chris will have in the Salon; his prices will be adjusted to reflect that. In order for you to continue to receive the superior service that Chris provides we are offering anyone who wants to be trained over to another associate, a one on one reservation with him and the associate of your choice or one that he feels best suites your needs.

For those of you that wish to remain with Chris, please remember to schedule your next reservation prior to leaving the salon because it may take weeks to see him again.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ERIN, TERRA AND JACKIE

We are very happy to announce that Erin, Terra and Jackie have all completed our in-house assistant training program and have been promoted to “Stylist”. All three of these ladies are a great asset to our design team and we are excited to have them on board.

We never imagined that our pedicures would become so famous. With such a demand on pedicures we have already had to revamp the room. We have added a platform and raised the chairs for even more comfort. If you haven't had a pedicure yet, you need to try one our Indonesian style pedicures. They're unlike any other!

Great things continue to happen here at Hi-Lites. We are so excited to have June back. She has taken a position on our management team and is in charge of all Public Relations and Marketing as well as training our Nail team. Many of you have been requesting June back for nails and she is temporarily taking requests to help with Gina's over flow. We are currently taking applications and interviewing for another nail tech to join our team.

Are you ready for a change? If so, now is the time. Over the next couple of months we will be attending several hair shows to learn what's new on the streets of New York, London and Paris and we're going to bring it back here to you.

SAVE THE DATE

Are you a fan of the “Left Behind” series written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins? If so, we will be having a book signing for the new release of “The Rapture” on Thursday, June 8th from 3 pm to 7 pm. Books will be available at the salon for purchase. Please limit 2 signings per person.

For those of you that prefer a female massage therapist we are proud to announce that we now have a female therapist onboard. All massages are booked with a male therapist unless otherwise specified.

THE SALON LEARNING CENTER

We have added a section to our website called “The Learning Center” to help keep you informed on what's new, why and why not, Q & As, pointers and tips about beauty and fashion.

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

We have been receiving an overwhelming amount of requests for gift certificates, raffle items and silent auction donations to non-profit organizations. So many that we have had to dedicate 2 full days a week to attend to all requests. We believe strongly in supporting our community and doing whatever we can to help others. Please put all requests in fax or mail form attention to Winona. We must have a written request with your non-profit information and number in order to process any donations. Unfortunately, phone messages will not be honored.

IN CLOSING FROM DARLA

Thank you, thank you and thank you again! I cannot say it enough to express the appreciation for all the support you have given us through out the years and especially now with our new location.

In efforts to keep up with the growth and the training needed to continue to expand Hi-Lites, I will personally no longer be accepting any new guests. I will, however, be continuing on with those guests that I have seen in the past. And always remember that if you would like for me to personally train another associate on how to do your hair, I would be more than happy to do so.
